Laboratory for production of synthetic drugs liquidated in Tashkent

As a result of a special operation carried out by employees of the State Security Service, the activities of an organized criminal group engaged in the sale of synthetic drugs via the Internet were suppressed, the State Security Service reported.

They established the production of a synthetic drug “mephedrone” in a clandestine laboratory in 3 rented apartments in the city of Tashkent.

As a result of special measures, synthetic drugs “mephedrone” – weighing 892 grams, “alpha-PVP” – 45 grams, as well as more than 360 liters of toxic chemicals and precursors used in the quality of raw materials, the necessary equipment and protective devices.

Also, 898 grams of “mephedrone”, 15 liters and 12 kg of various chemicals, as well as 8 liters of “bromoketone” hidden by members of the group were seized.

In addition, they confiscated $113,770 in the form of bitcoin cryptocurrency.

The group members were born in the period from 1992 to 2000, three of them are students of prestigious higher educational institutions in the city of Tashkent and abroad.

A criminal case has been initiated on this fact, investigative actions are underway.
