State Statistics Committee publishes foodstuff prices
The State Statistics Committee has published information on the minimum and maximum prices for certain types of food products in the regional dekhkan markets of the republic.
Beef with bones from 45,000 to 68,000 soums
• The minimum price for beef with bones was 45,000 soums per kilogram at the “Nukus dekhkan market” (on counters with reduced prices).
• The maximum price at the level of 68,000 soums was observed in Andijan (“Yangi bozor dekhkan market”), Samarkand “Siyob dekhkan market”), Gulistan “Guliston dekhkan market”), Yangiyul “Specialized Yangiyul city dekhkan market”), Urgench (“Urganch central dekhkan market”) and Tashkent (“Farkhod dekhkan market”, “Kuylik dekhkan market” and “Mirobod dekhkan market”).
At the same time, on the counters with low prices organized in these markets, the minimum price for beef with bones ranged from 50,000 to 60,000 soums.
Lamb from 52,000 to 80,000 soums
• The lowest price was registered in Tashkent (“Farkhod dekhkan market”).
• The maximum price of 80,000 soums per kilogram was noted in Tashkent (“Oloy dekhkan market”, “Farkhod dekhkan market”, “Kuylik dekhkan market” and “Mirobod dekhkan market”). The minimum price for mutton in these markets ranged from 52,000 to 65,000 soums per kilogram.
Potatoes from 3,000 to 6,500 soums
• The minimum price for potatoes was 3,000 soums per kilogram in Namangan (“Namangan chorsu dekhkan universal market”), Termez (“Green world central dekhkan foodstuff market”) and Tashkent (“Kuylik dekhkan market).
• The maximum price at the level of 6,500 soums per kilogram was noted in Tashkent (“Eski juva dekhkan market). At the same time, the minimum price for a kilogram of potatoes in this market as of the date of registration was 3,500 soums.
Onions from 1,200 to 4,000 soums
• The lowest price for a kilogram of small onions was 1,200 soums in Namangan (“Namangan chorsu dekhkan universal market”).
• The maximum price for selected onions was 4,000 soums per kilogram in Urgench (“Urganch central dekhkan market”). In the same market, onions could be bought at a price of 2,000 soums per kilogram.
Carrots from 1,000 to 4,500 soums
• The minimum price for carrots was 1,000 soums per kilogram in Termez (“Green world central dekhkan foodstuff market”). Also, carrots in this market can be bought for 2,000 soums per kilogram.
• The maximum price for selected clean carrots was 4,500 soums in Tashkent (“Oloy dekhkan market”, “Farkhod dekhkan market”). In the same markets, carrots can be bought at a minimum price of 3,000 soums per kilogram.
Eggs from 7,000 to 15,000 soums
• The minimum price for a dozen small eggs at the level of 7,000 soums is registered on the counters with reduced prices in Yangiyul (“Specialized Yangiyul city dekhkan market”) and Tashkent (“Kuylik dekhkan market”).
• The highest price of selected large eggs reached 15,000 soums per dozen and was noted in Tashkent (“Oloy dekhkan market”). At the same time, the minimum price for a dozen small eggs in this market was 10,000 soums.
Rice from 4,500 to 17,500 soums
• The lowest price for a kilogram of rice at the level of 4,500 soums (grade “Nukus-2”) was noted in Chirchik (“Chirchik dekhkan market”).
• The maximum price was 17,500 soums per kilogram (grade “Laser”) in Namangan (“Namangan chorsu dekhkan universal market”). At the same time, the minimum price for rice in this market was 6,500 soums per kilogram.
Vegetable oil from 13,600 to 24,000 soums
• The minimum price of vegetable oil at the level of 13,600 soums per liter (domestic cottonseed oil) was observed in Tashkent (“Mirobod dekhkan market”). At the same time, in the specified market, cottonseed oil was also sold at a price of 21,000 soums per liter (on the counters of private entrepreneurs).
• The maximum price was 24,000 soums per liter (imported sunflower oil) and was registered in Tashkent (“Mirobod dekhkan market”, “Eski juva dekhkan market”, “Farkhod dekhkan market” and “Oloy dekhkan market”). In these markets, cheaper sunflower oil was also sold in the range of 16,000 – 19,000 soums per liter.
Sugar from 7,500 to 10,500 soums
• The cheapest sugar was sold at a price of 7,500 soums per kilogram in Andijan (“Yangi bozor dekhkan market”).
• The maximum sugar price of 10,500 soums per kilogram was registered in Karshi (“Karshi dekhkan foodstuff market”). At the same time, the minimum price for sugar per kilogram in the specified market was 9,900 soums.
The State Statistics Committee noted that prices are recorded at the time of the survey and may be subject to fluctuations when the time, date and place change.
