Takhtakoracha pass opens for traffic

The road passing through the Takhtakoracha pass, located on the border of Samarkand and Kashkadarya regions, is open for traffic, the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.

On December 26, 2021, the section of the M39 Almaty-Tashkent-Termez international highway was temporarily closed for traffic due to heavy snowfalls.

It is noted that as a result of the necessary measures taken by the employees of the relevant organizations, the movement of vehicles through the pass has been restored on December 27.

“We ask all drivers to move, keeping an intermediate distance, without exceeding the speed limit,” the State Traffic Safety department said.
