Fruit and vegetable exports bring Uzbekistan over $863 million over 11 months

According to preliminary data of the State Statistics Committee, in January-November 2021, Uzbekistan exported 1.4 million tons of fruits and vegetables to foreign countries for $863.1 million.

The committee says the figure increased by 5.5 thousand tons compared to the same period last year.

The volume of fruits and vegetables exported during the reporting period:

• fruits and berries - 301.3 thousand tons
• dried fruits and berries - 52 thousand tons
• vegetables - 726.3 thousand tons
• pepper - 16.8 thousand tons
• grapes - 199 thousand tons
• raisins - 45 thousand tons
• peanuts - 20 thousand tons
• watermelon and melon - 82 thousand tons
