Uzbekistan’s footwear exports down
In January-November 2021, Uzbekistan exported $34 million worth of footwear to 15 countries, the State Statistics Committee reported.
Footwear exports decreased by $517 thousand compared to the same period last year.
During the period under review, Uzbekistan exported footwear products mainly to the following countries:
- Kyrgyzstan - $19.1 million
- Kazakhstan - $7.7 million
- Tajikistan - $5.3 million
- Russia - $925 thousand
- Afghanistan - $631 thousand
According to the committee, Andijan region was the largest exporter of footwear in the 11 months of 2021 ($15.1 million).
