Foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan at $42.1 billion in 2021
Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover amounted to $42.1 billion in January-December 2021, the State Statistics Committee said in a report.
According to the committee, the republic exported $16.6 billion worth of products ($14.1 billion) and services ($2.5 billion) during the reporting period.
Imports amounted to $25.5 billion: products - $23.7 billion, services - $1.8 billion.
Over the 12 months of 2021:
GDP growth rate was 107.4%
Index of physical volume of industrial production – 108.7%
Growth rate of construction works – 106.8%
Retail trade growth rate – 112.0%
Market services growth rate – 119.2%
Growth rate of agriculture, forestry and fisheries – 104%
FTT growth rate – 116%
Export growth rate – 110%
Import growth rate – 120.4%
The number of operating enterprises and organizations reached 528,929.
