Provinces with highest divorce rates announced
In 2021, 39,227 divorces were registered in Uzbekistan.

The State Statistics Committee has released data on regions with the highest divorce rates. The city of Tashkent tops the list:
- Tashkent – 5,571
- Fergana region – 4,285
- Samarkand region – 4,149
- Tashkent region – 4,067
- Andijan region – 3,931
- Namangan region – 3,153
- Kashkadarya region – 2,867
- Surkhandarya region – 2,264
- Bukhara region – 2,080
- Khorezm region – 1,504
- Karakalpakstan – 1,442
- Syrdarya region – 1,411
- Jizzakh region – 1,279
- Navoi region – 1,224
