Power outage hits whole Uzbekistan, some provinces of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan
Metro and interregional electric trains have stopped in Tashkent.
According to a Kun.uz correspondent, power outages are observed in Tashkent, Syrdarya, Kashkadarya, Samarkand, Bukhara, Fergana, Andijan and Namangan regions as well as in Karakalpakstan.
Reportedly, the energy collapse affected the Turkestan region, Shymkent and Taraz cities of Kazakhstan, Bishkek and Osh cities of Kyrgyzstan.
Traffic jams began at intersections as traffic lights went out in major cities without electricity.
Water supply was also disrupted due to the failure of pumps.
Soon, interruptions in mobile communication may also begin.
