Uzbekistan’s GDP increased by 7.4% in 2021
The gross domestic product (GDP) of Uzbekistan amounted to 734.6 trillion soums in 2021.

According to the State Statistics Committee, the GDP of the country increased by 7.4% compared to the previous year.
In 2021, the GDP per capita in current prices amounted to 21 million soums ($1,983), an increase of 5.3% compared to 2020.
Earlier, the World Bank had published its annual World Economic Outlook report for 2021. The report said Uzbekistan’s economy grew by 6.2% last year.
The bank predicted that Uzbekistan’s economy will grow by 5.6% and 5.8% in 2022 and 2023, respectively.
