The fog has restricted the operation of two airports in the republic, JSC Uzbekistan Airports said in a statement.
This morning, due to fog and insufficient visibility, Ural Airlines flight SVR-8317 from Moscow failed to land at Fergana airport and left for the international airport in Namangan.
After that, 227 passengers were transported from Namangan to Fergana by land.
Uzbekistan Airways’ Tashkent-Fergana flight HY-83 was also delayed due to bad weather conditions at the airport.
Heavy fog caused the delay of Uzbekistan Airways flight HY-024 on the route Bukhara-Tashkent. The plane with 138 passengers on board departed at 11:29 instead of 09:20 as it was planned.
Currently, the airport is operating normally.
