SSS officers prevent sale of almost 15 kg of drugs imported from Tajikistan

SSS arrested a man who was courier to drug traffickers. About 19,000 powerful drugs imported from Kyrgyzstan were also confiscated.

Large quantities of hashish were confiscated by SSS and Border Troops servicemen.

A resident of Tajikistan’s Sokh region (born in 1976) was detained while smuggling 10,701 kg of hashish into the Akhangaron district, Tashkent region.

It turned out that Tajik drug traffickers had to pay $1,200 for his courier service.

Also, a Lacetti moving on the Bukhara-Amudarya route was stopped at the “Miskin” post patrol station, Turtkul district. When the car was inspected, its passenger – a former convict from Amudarya, born in 1968, was trying to smuggle 2 kilograms 39 grams of opium.

It turned out that the narcotic substance was smuggled from Tajikistan to Bukhara.

During an operative event, a Lacetti driver (born in 1979), resident of Andijan, was stopped while he was entering the capital in his vehicle.

As a result, 11,228 units of Regapen and 595 units of Tropikovid, illegally imported from Kyrgyzstan, were found in the car and seized. Two of his accomplices (born in 1988 and 1991) were also arrested.

In addition, in a similar situation in Tashkent, a resident of Andijan (born in 1985) was detained while giving 5,488 Regapen and 1,188 Tropikovid drugs to a resident of Chilanzar district (born in 1985).

It was found that 224 medicines were in the house of the person who received the medicines and it was registered in an appropriate order.

During the investigation, a man from Andijan (born in 1986), who smuggled the drugs from Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan, was also detained.

As a result of operative measures, all of the seized narcotics and drugs were confiscated. Criminal proceedings have been instituted. An investigation is underway.
