Russian company to help Uzbekistan establish production of insulin preparations

A Russian company will help Uzbekistan establish the production of insulin preparations. This was agreed upon by the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade, the Russian Ministry of Health and the biotechnology company Geropharm.

The parties signed an agreement in Moscow, according to which a project for the future production in Uzbekistan and the supply of insulin will be developed.

A roadmap of practical measures should also be approved soon.

The implementation of this initiative will increase the availability of life-saving insulin preparations for people with diabetes, as well as reduce the country’s dependence on imports from abroad.
