Company producing outfit for Uzbekistan’s Olympic delegation announced
On February 4, the Uzbek delegation will take part in the opening ceremony of the XXIV Winter Olympic Games in 7SABER sportswear. Editors have the photos of the outfit, specially created by the famous brand for the competition in Beijing.
It should be recalled that earlier 7SABER participated in the Tokyo Games as a partner of the Uzbek Olympic team. At the same time, sports outfit of Uzbek athletes was included in the fashion rating of Cosmopolitan magazine. This time, the 7SABER designers stayed true to their chosen style, changing the emphasis from mint to turquoise. In favor of compactness, they abandoned national ornaments.
Commenting on the event, Oraz Abdurazakov, co-founder and head of the 7SABER brand, said: “We are grateful to the National Olympic Committee for their trust: the company has done everything possible to meet this important requirement in a timely and quality manner. All I can say is that the Olympic costumes we created for the Tokyo Games have been a huge success among the fans, so we hope to live up to their expectations this time as well. As I look forward to the discussions on social media about how much money was spent on equipment from the state budget, as last summer, I can officially say the exact amount that 7SABER received then and now: exactly zero soums. The fact is that in Uzbekistan, as in most countries around the world, the official partners of the NOC provide athletes with uniforms absolutely free of charge – this is a generally accepted practice. You know, money is not the main thing when it comes to the Games: it is a great honor for 7SABER to sponsor the Olympic delegation of our country for the second time, and I sincerely hope that this cooperation will continue”.
