Individuals arrested in Gulistan for selling driver’s licenses
Two people were detained. One of them promised a citizen to issue a driver’s license in 15 days without passing trainings and exams. He demanded $350 for his services.
Later, while receiving $250 in bribe, officers of the security forces detained him and his accomplice as well. Both were prosecuted under Articles 168 (fraud) and 28, 211 (bribery). An investigation is underway.
Earlier, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev instructed to toughen the punishment for issuing driver’s licenses without proper training.
