19-year-old woman leaves her newborn child on the street in Nukus

On February 8, 2022, at 02:00 in the Takhtakupir district of Nukus, a young woman gave birth to a child and left the baby in front of the nearby house.

After that, the baby was brought to the republican perinatal center.

A criminal case has been initiated against the woman under Article 117, Part 1 of the Criminal Code. An investigation is ongoing.
