Gun control in Uzbekistan may be transferred from National Guard to MIA
Perhaps soon in Uzbekistan, employees of the internal affairs bodies will exercise control over the circulation of weapons and ammunition, the press service of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis reported.
According to the draft law, gun control could be transferred from the National Guard to the Ministry of the Interior.
At present, acquired civilian and service guns are subject to registration with the National Guard within 10 days from the date of their acquisition, with the exception of weapons and ammunition acquired without the permission of the National Guard.
