Tashkent to host first international investment forum in March
From March 24 to March 26, foreign businesses will get acquainted with the investment opportunities of Uzbekistan.

In March, Tashkent will host the first international investment forum, the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade reported.
The event will become “a new platform for discussion and implementation of strategic initiatives.” In addition, Uzbekistan will demonstrate the country’s investment opportunities to the international business community.
The main goal of the forum is to attract foreign investors, financial and economic organizations interested in expanding their activities in the Uzbek market.
Forum participants will have the following opportunities:
• get acquainted with the changes in the business environment of Uzbekistan and take part in a new stage of its development;
• identify promising projects for the development of logistics infrastructure within the framework of regional initiatives;
• learn about measures aimed at liberalizing the economy;
• study major projects in the areas of foreign direct investment and privatization;
• establish contact with key figures in the government, financial and business circles of Uzbekistan and Central Asia.
Various topics will be discussed at the event – from green energy to innovative industries, from agriculture to the digitalization of economic sectors. In addition, on the last day of the forum, trips to local companies will be organized for those who wish.
