Uzbekistan increases rice imports
Last year, Uzbekistan imported about 28 thousand tons of rice from 14 countries for $7.5 million.

According to the State Statistics Committee, rice imports increased by 14.4 thousand tons compared to 2020.
During the reporting year, Uzbekistan purchased rice mainly from the following countries:
- Kazakhstan - 27.6 thousand tons
- Pakistan - 248.2 tons
- China - 60 tons
- UAE - 25 tons
- India - 23 tons
- Russia - 19 tons
