Uzbekistan plans to hold next meeting on accession to WTO in near future
The next, fifth in a row, meeting of the working group on Uzbekistan's entry into the WTO may be held in the near future.
This was reported by the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade. It is noted that in total this year it is planned to hold up to 6 such meetings.
Earlier, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev instructed to study the impact of WTO membership on the domestic auto industry, food, textile industry and metallurgy.
When joining the organization, Uzbekistan intends to receive the privileges of a country with a developing economy.
Russia is ready to support the republic in joining the organization.
