Uzbekistan’s daily COVID-19 cases continue to drop
On February 15, 296 people tested positive for coronavirus in Uzbekistan.
The Ministry of Health reported that the total number of registered coronavirus cases has reached 234,359 (+296).
According to the ministry, 157 COVID-19 cases were registered in the city of Tashkent, 5 – in Karakalpakstan, 8 – in Andijan, 8 – in Bukhara, 7 – in Jizzakh, 4 – in Kashkadarya, 3 – in Navoi, 5 – in Namangan, 17 – in Samarkand, 3 – in Syrdarya, 16 – in Surkhandarya, 10 – in Fergana, 4 – in Khorezm and 49 – in Tashkent region.
2 COVID-19 patients died yesterday, bringing the official death toll to 1,609.
As of February 15, the number of recovered stands at 220,466 (+1,310).
Also, 52 people tested positive for pneumonia on Tuesday.
