Over 69 thousand births registered in Uzbekistan in January

The Statistics Committee notes that 35,401 of the newborns were boys and 33,797 – girls.

The highest number of births was registered in Samarkand region (8,516).

Earlier it was reported that on the first day of 2022, 2,316 babies were born in the republic.

For information, on the same day in 2018, 1,961 babies were born, in 2019 – 1,708, in 2020 – 1,974, and in 2021 – 1,644.
