A group of individuals arrested for trying to transfer studies of 30 students in Fergana

In the Fergana region, individuals were detained for promising to transfer studies of 30 students, the PGO press service reported.
It was found that Sh.I., M.A., J.O. and N.U. were caught with material evidence when they received $67,000 from citizen M. in exchange for transferring 30 students studying at the Osh State University in Kyrgyzstan to higher education institutions in Uzbekistan.
A criminal case has been filed against them under Article 168 (fraud) of the Criminal Code. An investigation is underway.
