The US dollar exchange rate of the bank increased from 10,841 to 10,888 soums per dollar on Tuesday. According to the bank’s statement, the dramatic change is not associated with external factors.
It is noted that now it is quite difficult to assess the scale and consequences of the situation around Ukraine for the economy of Uzbekistan.
The exchange rate of the Russian ruble faced a noticeable drop after Moscow announced that it recognizes the independence of the DNR and LNR.
