Nearly 1,200 citizens evacuated from Ukraine through Poland so far – MFA
Uzbekistan has evacuated a total of 1,186 citizens from Ukraine through Poland by five flights so far, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
Two more evacuation flights are scheduled today. The first flight left Tashkent at 07:00, another one at 10:00.
More than 800 citizens of Uzbekistan remain on the territory of Poland. Of these, 350 are located at the gathering point on the Polish state border and 450 at the Katowice airport.
The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Ukraine continues the evacuation of its citizens, despite the hostilities.
The country’s diplomatic missions in Poland and Ukraine are working round-the-clock. Hot meals are delivered to citizens, and medical services are provided if necessary.
