Shavkat Mirziyoyev to visit Pakistan

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a state visit to Pakistan on March 3-4 at the invitation of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The agenda of the forthcoming high-level talks includes issues of further development of the Uzbek-Pakistani strategic partnership and multifaceted cooperation.

Special attention will be paid to the implementation of joint projects on practical cooperation in trade, investment, transport, logistics, infrastructure and tourism, the expansion of cultural and humanitarian exchange programs. The parties will also consider the international and regional agenda.

A joint declaration and a number of bilateral documents are planned to be adopted following the summit.

According to the program of the visit, Mirziyoyev is expected to meet with the President of Pakistan Arif Alvi, heads of government agencies and leading companies.
