Uzbekistan’s new ambassador presents credentials to Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry
Uzbekistan's newly appointed Ambassador, Alisher Tukhtaev, presented copies of his credentials today to Tipu Usman, Chief of Protocol at Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the meeting, the sides discussed prospects for further strengthening Uzbek-Pakistani relations in areas of mutual interest. Tipu Usman emphasized Pakistan's readiness to expand mutually beneficial cooperation with Uzbekistan, both bilaterally and within multilateral frameworks.
Alisher Tukhtaev arrived in Islamabad on October 6, succeeding Oybek Usmanov, who served as Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to Pakistan from 2021 to 2024.
