US dollar exchange rate in banks reaches UZS 10,955 mark
Several commercial banks raised the US dollar exchange rate on Friday, March 4.
Many of the banks have set the purchase rate at 10,880 – 10,900 soums and the sale at 10,950 – 10,955 soums. For the first time, the exchange rate of the dollar has reached the 10,955 soums mark. The UZS is losing its value dramatically.
Below is a list of some banks that have updated the dollar exchange rate:
• Agrobank: purchase - 10 870, sale - 10 955;
• Savdogarbank: purchase - 10,895, sale - 10,955;
• Kapitalbank: purchase - 10,900, sale - 10,950;
• Asakabank: purchase - 10,850, sale - 10,940;
• National Bank of Uzbekistan: purchase – 10,880, sale – 10,950
• Hamkorbank: purchase - 10,880, sale - 10,940.
The official exchange rate of the Central Bank (as of March 4) is 10,900.25 soums.
