Russia lifts all restrictions on supply of tomatoes and peppers from Uzbekistan
Rosselkhoznadzor has lifted restrictions on imports of vegetables from nine countries, including Uzbekistan.
From March 5 this year, Rosselkhoznadzor has allowed the supply of vegetable products from a number of countries.
According to official data, the previous restrictions on the import of vegetable products from 9 countries to Russia were lifted, despite the restrictions imposed on manufacturing enterprises. In particular, Russia has lifted all restrictions on the supply of tomatoes and peppers from Uzbekistan.
It was noted that the decision was made on the basis of analysis of data on zoning provided by the national quarantine and plant protection organizations of these countries, as well as measures taken to prevent violations of phytosanitary requirements of the Russian Federation.
