Statistics Committee names provinces with most divorces
In February 2022, 3,985 cases of divorce were registered in Uzbekistan.
The State Statistics Committee has released data on regions with the highest divorce rates for February. The city of Tashkent tops the list:
- Tashkent city - 507
- Samarkand region - 439
- Tashkent region - 415
- Andijan region - 415
- Kashkadarya region - 392
- Namangan region - 352
- Fergana region - 313
- Surkhandarya region - 207
- Bukhara region - 191
- Karakalpakstan - 181
- Khorezm region - 173
- Jizzakh region - 139
- Syrdarya region - 136
- Navoi region - 125
In 2021, 39,227 divorces were registered in the country.
