A man detained in Fergana for trying to smuggle more than 40 iPhones into the country

The total amount of mobile phones found by customs officers was estimated at 603 million soums.

According to the press service of the State Customs Committee, Fergana customs officers prevented the illegal import of mobile phones worth 603 million soums.

Employees of the Department for Combating Smuggling and Customs Audit of the Fergana Regional Customs Department held an operative event, during which 43 iPhone 13 smartphones, which were illegally imported into the country, were found in the passenger of a Cobalt car.

Currently, an investigation is underway.
