Uzbekistan imports nearly $7 million worth of tea over two months
In January-February 2022, Uzbekistan imported 5.2 thousand tons of tea from 18 countries for $6.8 million.

According to the State Statistics Committee, tea imports increased by 1.9 thousand tons compared to the same period last year.
During the reporting period, the republic imported tea mainly from the following countries:
- China - 4.3 thousand tons
- Iran - 248 tons
- Kenya - 217 tons
- Indonesia - 88.3 tons
- Shri Lanka - 87 tons
- Vietnam - 65 tons
- UAE - 44.2 tons
- India - 43 tons
- Russia - 38 tons
- Kazakhstan - 30.2 tons
- Pakistan - 22.5 tons
- Turkey - 19.2 tons
- Germany - 1 ton
