Russia tops ranking for number of foreign-invested enterprises and companies in Uzbekistan
As of April 1, 2022, the number of enterprises and organizations with foreign capital registered in Uzbekistan amounted to 14,109, of which 13,656 are operating.
The number of operating enterprises with foreign capital increased by 1,417 compared to the same period last year, the State Statistics Committee said.
Number of enterprises with foreign capital by country:
- Russia - 2,390
- China - 1,967
- Turkey - 1,961
- Kazakhstan - 1,109
- South Korea - 890
Number of newly established enterprises with foreign capital in January-March 2022:
- Russia - 107 units
- Turkey - 95
- Kazakhstan - 46
- China - 45
