Heads of special services inspect an undescribed section on Kyrgyz-Uzbek border by helicopter

On May 17, Chairman of the State Security Service of Uzbekistan Abdusalom Azizov met with his colleague, Chairman of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan Kamchybek Tashiyev.

According to media reports, the heads of the special services of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan flew around by helicopter and inspected an undescribed area on the Kyrgyz-Uzbek border in the Gavasay area of the Ala-Buka district, Jalal-Abad region.

In addition, Abdusalom Azizov and Kamchybek Tashiyev exchanged views on various issues.

“The meeting was held in the format of good-neighbourliness and friendship,” the report reads.

Relevant decisions were also made during the meeting.
