Deputy FM of Uzbekistan holds talks with head of EU’s Directorate General for International Partnership in Brussels
Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Gayrat Fozilov, who is in Brussels, met with the Director General of the Directorate General for International Partnership of the European Commission Koen Doens.
The parties discussed promising areas of cooperation and noted mutual interest in maintaining the active dynamics established in relations between Uzbekistan and the European Union in recent years.
Issues of further expansion of the dialogue in the trade-economic, investment and cultural-humanitarian spheres, as well as in the field of environmental protection were considered.
Separately, issues of interaction in the field of financial and technical assistance within the framework of the recently adopted EU Multi-Year Indicative Program for 2021-2027 for Uzbekistan were touched upon.
