US dollar exchange rate drops further, ruble up
The Central Bank of Uzbekistan has set new foreign exchange rates, which will be effective from May 26 this year.
According to the regulator, the US dollar drops by 11.92 soums and amounts to 11,063.01 soums.
The euro, in the meantime, falls by 53.71 soums to 11,809.76 soums.
The Russian ruble, on the other hand, rises in price by 2.57 soums, reaching the mark of 197.47 soums.
Rates are set without the obligation of the Central Bank to buy or sell currency at a given rate.
