Uzbekistan increased potato imports
In January-April 2022, Uzbekistan imported 269,000 tons of potatoes from 13 countries for $46.8 million.

According to the State Statistics Committee, potato imports increased by almost 38.3 thousand tons compared to the corresponding period last year.
During the reporting period, Uzbekistan imported potatoes mainly from Pakistan (211.3 thousand tons), Kazakhstan (22.4 thousand tons), Russia (14.4 thousand tons), Kyrgyzstan (8.8 thousand tons), Iran (5.6 thousand tons), Afghanistan (4 thousand tons), the Netherlands (1.5 thousand tons), Belarus (631.6 tons) and Poland (431.2 tons).
