Women live longer than men in Uzbekistan – Statistics Committee

According to the committee, as of January 1, 2022, the average life expectancy of the permanent population in Uzbekistan was 73.8 years.

At the beginning of 2021, the figure was 73.4 years.

Life expectancy as of January 1, 2022:

for women - 75.8 years;
for men - 71.7 years;

Also, according to the Statistics Committee, as of January 1, 2022, the total number of permanent residents aged 14-30 in the country amounted to 9,685,564 people: boys - 4,954,910, girls - 4,730,654.

As of January 1, 2022, the total number of children aged 0-14 in the country was 10,518,483 people.
