Nexia-3 driver dies in a collision with public bus in Tashkent
A MAN bus and a Nexia-3 car collided in Tashkent. Information service of Toshshakhartranskhizmat provided an official commentary on the situation.
On June 3 at 16:27, the driver of a Nexia-3 car, citizen U.O., was driving at high speed along Kichik Khalka Yuli Street towards Bunyodkor Avenue. He violated the traffic rules, did not keep the prescribed distance.
As a result, Nexia-3 crashed from behind into a MAN passenger bus of route 69, assigned to Bus Fleet No. 7 (driver Kh.Kh. with 18 years of driving experience), which stopped to let pedestrians through.
The car driver received serious bodily injuries and died in the Republican Research Center for Ambulance.
Currently, the Main DIA of Tashkent is conducting a preliminary investigation into the accident.
The Road Traffic Safety Department of Toshshakhartranskhizmat JSC is conducting an internal investigation.
