The head of state emphasized the need to increase the share of the private sector in vocational training.

It was noted that although there are currently legal grounds for doing so, there are no private colleges or technical schools in the country.

“Foreign companies are also offering a number of initiatives for vocational training and employment for our youth,” the President said.

It was noted that in order to intensify work in this area, a number of benefits will be provided for the creation of private colleges and technical schools:

  • the requirements for obtaining a license will be revised and the minimum amount of necessary funds will be reduced by 2 times;
  • empty buildings will be rented out for long-term lease;
  • imported literature and equipment will be exempt from customs duties;
  • for each graduate who received an international qualification certificate, 1 million soums will be paid;
  • young people from low-income families will be reimbursed 30% of the tuition fee amount.
