Foodstuff prices begin to rise in Uzbek markets
Prices for products such as beef, mutton, butter and sugar have risen.
According to the Statistics Committee, as of June 22, 2022, prices are as follows:
• Bone-in beef (1 kg) – 45,000 - 75,000 soums (increased by 2,000 soums);
• Mutton (1 kg) – 55,000 - 88,000 soums (increased by 2,000 soums);
• Potatoes (1 kg) – 2000 - 7000 soums;
• Onions (1 kg) – 2000 - 5500 soums (increased by 500 soums);
• Carrots (1 kg) – 1200 - 6000 soums (increased by 300 soums);
• Eggs (10 pieces) – 7000 - 15 000 soums;
• Rice (1 kg) – 5,000 - 22,000 soums (increased by 500 soums);
• Vegetable oil (1 liter) – 15,500 - 30,000 soums (increased by 2,000 soums);
• Sugar (1 kg) – 10,000 - 18,000 soums (increased by 1,000 soums).
