Alisher Usmanov names most interesting areas for investment in Uzbekistan

According to the entrepreneur and philanthropist Alisher Usmanov, now it is a good time to invest in Uzbekistan. He spoke about this in an interview with Forbes.

“I think now it is a good time for investors to enter the Uzbek market. I encourage everyone to invest here. The companies of which I am a shareholder invest here in metallurgy, cement production and telecommunications,” he said.

Alisher Usmanov also added that he will continue to invest here and all the money he earns in Uzbekistan will remain in the country.

During the interview, the entrepreneur also named interesting areas for investment in the republic.

“The most interesting areas for investment are cotton processing, the production of fruits and vegetables, as well as the development of the country’s mining resources, namely the extraction and processing of non-ferrous metal ores,” Usmanov said.
