About 50 citizens of Kazakhstan, who are on the border of Uzbekistan, have not been able to return to their homeland for three days. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, the situation is under control, lada.kz reported.
Aybek Smadiyarov, the official representative of the department, explained the position of the Kazakhs.
“This situation is under the special control of our diplomats in Uzbekistan. Negotiations are underway with the Uzbek side. We will do everything in our power to resolve the issue as soon as possible. Our citizens are provided with three meals a day, and we are in constant contact with them,” the Kazakh media reported referring to the MFA representative.
According to Kazakhs stuck at the border, heat and exhaustion are causing fever in children. People sent a video message to the president.
