Vladimir Norov meets with ambassadors of EU states
Acting FM of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov met with the heads of diplomatic missions of the member states of the European Union.

According to the MFA, during the meeting, the European side was provided with detailed information about the upcoming constitutional reform in Uzbekistan, the essence and content of the proposed changes to the country’s fundamental law.
The consistent development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the European Union in a wide range of areas of common interest was noted. The parties welcomed the recent initialing of the Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between Uzbekistan and the European Union.
The prospects for expanding Uzbek-European cooperation in trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres were discussed. The European side expressed its readiness to promote the diversification of bilateral trade, as well as the development of vocational education in Uzbekistan.
The importance of successfully holding in November 2022 a ministerial conference on interconnectedness and a meeting of the heads of foreign affairs agencies in the “European Union - Central Asia” format in the city of Samarkand was emphasized.
The European side presented the priorities of the Czech Presidency of the EU Council in the second half of 2022, in which special attention will also be paid to the development of relations with the states of Central Asia.
