MIFT provides information on cost of holding Tashkent International Investment Forum
In March, state orders worth more than 15 billion soums were placed to private companies to hold the Tashkent International Investment Forum. This is about $1 million 370 thousand at the current exchange rate.
The Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade posted on the state procurement portal information about how much money was spent on holding the Tashkent International Investment Forum.
In March 2022, an international investment forum was held in Tashkent. The author of the Davletovuz Telegram channel drew attention to the information posted on the state procurement portal by the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade.
It is noted that purchases of more than 15 billion soums were made within the framework of the forum. In particular:
• Sky Events LLC – 7 billion 264 million soums for organizing the forum;
• Lux Taxi LLC – 2 billion 53 million soums for luxury car rental;
• Akfa Dream World LLC (Hilton) – 2 billion 585 million soums for meals within the forum;
• Interhotel LLC (hotel) – 1 billion 190 million soums for hall rent and meals for 1500 people;
• Republican special communication link SUE – 798.5 million soums for sound devices;
• Ahadmix-Yastreb LLC – 457 million soums for rent of stage and screens;
• Akfa Dream World LLC (Hilton) – 253 million soums for hall rent and food for the forum headquarters;
• 398 million soums were paid for the rent of the flag from Shorakhmat-Fayz family enterprise.
“Besides, a number of other expenses have also been incurred. It will exceed 15 billion soums,” the blogger write.
The MIFT announced that at the end of the forum specific contracts and investment deals worth $7.8 billion were signed. It was also said that preliminary agreements were reached on the implementation of projects worth $3.5 billion.
It should be recalled that yesterday the government of Uzbekistan made a decision to borrow $250 million to fill the budget.
According to the presidential decree signed a year ago, it was decided to announce the costs of welcoming guests from abroad.
