36 food poisoning cases recorded in Jan-Jun 2022
Over the past six months, 440 tons of food and home-cooked meals have been banned from sale.

A press conference was held at AIMC with the participation of representatives of the Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health Service, the Consumer Rights Protection Agency and the Veterinary Committee.
Information was provided on effective mechanisms for establishing public control over the activities of facilities engaged in the production, transportation, storage and sale of food raw materials and consumer goods.
It was reported that over the past 6 months of this year, 36 cases of food poisoning were recorded, 176 citizens suffered, including 52 children.
After notification of the authorized body, sanitary control was carried out at 61 out of 279 dekhkan markets of the republic. It turned out that all of them do not comply with sanitary rules and regulations.
