Customs benefits granted in H1 2022 announced
For 6 months of 2022, 21.5 trillion soums of customs duties were collected to the state budget. Receipts increased by 6.4 trillion soums or 43%, Khusan Tangriyev, acting head of the information service of the State Customs Committee, reported.
It is noted that customs benefits amounted to 23.5 trillion soums and they were left at the disposal of 12.1 thousand business entities as working capital. Benefits increased by 10.2 trillion soums or 77%.
During operative events:
ꞏ 562.1 kg of narcotic drugs, 190 thousand units of potent and 2.3 thousand units of psychotropic substances, 4.7 thousand units of prohibited literature were seized;
ꞏ in 8420 cases, illegal circulation of goods for a total amount of 434 billion soums was revealed;
ꞏ the illegal circulation of foreign currency in the amount of $2.2 million, jewelry worth 8.2 billion soums, 1,066 items of cultural property was prevented.
