Wang Yi voices China’s support for Uzbekistan’s accession to WTO
Following his visits to Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi gave an interview to journalists.
According to China’s leading state news agency Xinhua, during Wang Yi’s visit to Uzbekistan, both sides agreed to use the agreement reached by the heads of the two states as a guide to deepening mutual political trust and strengthening the conjugation of development strategies.
The parties agreed to promote high-quality cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative and bring annual trade to $10 billion in the near future.
“Wang Yi also voiced China’s support for Uzbekistan’s entry into the WTO,” the agency said.
