Police arrest six people selling 11.5 kg of gold powder for $50,000

Two residents of Samarkand region appealed to the law enforcement bodies saying that a group of people living in Navoi region offered them to buy more than 11.5 kg of gold powder for $50.000. Navoi residents promised they would transport the metal powder themselves if the sale takes place.
Samarkand police carried out a mobile operation and detained six people with material evidence while selling 11,575 kg of gold powder to residents of Samarkand for the agreed amount.
Currently, the case is under investigation.
