Fire broke out in store and beauty salon in Tashkent, a criminal case opened on fact of arson
On August 18, at about 01:57 a fire broke out in one of the residential buildings of the Yashnabad district.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES), a fire broke out in a perfumery shop and a beauty salon on the territory of the Vatandosh mahalla.
Reportedly, the fire covered 35 square meters of building area and 15 square meters of office space. Four fire and rescue crews and one truck arrived at the scene. The fire was extinguished at 02:10.
According to the press service of the Tashkent city DIA, a 41-year-old citizen set fire to a perfumery shop and a beauty salon.
On the above fact, law enforcement officers initiated a case under article 173 (intentional destruction or damage to property) of the Criminal Code. An investigation is underway.
