The report said that the deceased, head of “Takomil qurilish servis” LLC, could not bear the fact that he was insulted and humiliated by the khokim and district prosecutor at a meeting the day before his death, where 250-300 people participated.
The Andijan regional khokimiyat commented on this incident.
“In connection with this situation, the regional khokimiyat conducted an inspection, during which it was found that the meeting with the participation of 200-300 people was not held in the district administration, and no one – neither the prosecutor nor the khokim – put pressure on the businessman,” the report reads.
The regional administration also noted that the entrepreneur was given 85% of the cost of the facility under construction.
“Also, the entrepreneur requested 250 million soums as practical assistance. In response to his appeal, according to the order of the regional khokim, the issue of allocating an additional 350 million soums to the entrepreneur (600 million soums in total) was submitted for consideration. This issue was submitted for discussion to the Council of People’s Deputies,” the regional administration said in a statement.
During the check, other details related to the suicide of the LLC head were revealed, the khokimiyat noted.
The prosecutor’s office is currently investigating the case.
